Jifna Trail

This 5-kilometer trail starts from the village of Jifna, which carries the name of Roman king “Gophna”. Jifna is known for its picturesque nature and trees, especially apricot; locals organize a yearly festival in June celebrating the harvest of apricots. The village reflects a picture of social harmony and unity between the Muslim and Christian communities.
Jifna is also known for its guesthouses that receive tourists.
The Jifna Trail includes several historical, architectural, religious, agricultural and natural landmarks, the first stop of the trail is water springs- used for watering the village’s trees and plans (natural springs with special pools for agriculture and swimming), the trail then continues east towards Ein Siniya, that is the next stop, walking through agricultural terraces and olive trees reaching the historical tower castle and Saint George’s Church in Jifna.
The trail is on an easy level, suitable for all age groups.
The trail begins and ends at Rawabi City, where hikers would also gather ahead.
